FX Artist needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Kirkland, WA.
Top Skills You Should Possess:
- Photo-realist effects
- Strong Communication Skills
- Knowledge of 3D packages software
What You'll Be Doing:
- Creation of all types of photo-real effect ranging from environment to vehicle, character and weapons.
- Work with FX Lead and Art Director to ensure the visual quality bar is met.
- Optimize effects to run efficiently within the game while maintaining a high level of quality.
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Experience working in a Real Time game engine with particle simulations.
- Proficient in at Maya, Max, Houdni or XSI.
- Good understanding of motion, animation lighting and how it influences effects.
Bonus Points! Otherwise Known As Preferred
Qualifications:
- Have shipped an AAA title.
- Proficiency in creating fluid systems.
