The Facilities Assistant I - Moves/Adds/Changes is a dynamic, customer service role providing essential office functions. This position requires a highly motivated individual with strong communication skills and a great customer service attitude. You will be responsible for performing a variety of facilities management services, tasks and projects including, but not limited to event coordination, set up and tear down, reception, ticket requests, putting together office furniture, and liaising with other departments on facilities needs. Required responsibility varies based on size of office. Willingness to take on new projects and learn new skills is a must.

Responsibilities:
Reception or back-up Reception duties including but not limited to: welcoming and greeting visitors, providing assistance, answering and routing incoming calls and public inquiries, oversee the distribution of building access cards, office communications and scheduling.
Administrative Duties including but not limited to: administrative tasks, office equipment assistance and support, liaison between departments and Facilities Management, create and maintain office databases, facilitate new hire process, verification of invoicing.
Facilities Services including but not limited to: daily walk thru''s of office and public areas, process inventory orders, assist with vendor selections, assist with event preparation, resolve outstanding ticket requests.
Mailroom, Shipping/Receiving Services including but not limited to: manage shipping and receiving for the office, supplies, responsible for accurate and timely mail delivery.

Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
Minimum of 1 year in an facilities support role required.
Ability to meet deadlines and make sound decisions in stressful situations.
Friendly, outgoing and inviting personality.
Strong customer service skills.
Effective time management skills.
Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written form.
Creative problem solving skills.
Proactive and self motivated with willingness to learn.
Proficiency using the Internet and Microsoft Office programs including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook.
Ability to meet deadlines and make sound decisions, sometimes under stress.
Friendly, outgoing and inviting personality.
Strong customer service skills i.e. effective explanation, being timely, positive attitude.
Effective time management skills i.e. multitasking and prioritization.
Ability to communicate clearly in verbal and written form.

Ability to lift 25 pounds.
