Production Test Technician
PDS Tech Commercial, Inc. is on the lookout for skilled candidates to join our team as 2nd Shift Production Test Technicians in Kirkland, WA.
Our Production Test Technicians need to roll up their sleeves and dive into the intricate world of circuit complexity. From reading PCB schematics to troubleshooting down to the component level, you'll be at the heart of ensuring our products meet top-notch standards. Using precision instruments and cutting-edge test equipment, you'll test, troubleshoot, and fine-tune parts and products, ensuring they're flawless and ready to shine.
Essential Job Functions:
- Test and troubleshoot less complex assemblies and final systems
- Keep a keen eye on production processes, fine-tuning them for superior quality and productivity
- Master the art of interpreting blueprints and wiring diagrams, applying your electronic theory know-how
- Set up, test, and troubleshoot circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies
- Be ready to roll up your sleeves and tackle any rework needed due to testing faults
- Summarize your findings in concise yet informative reports
- Occasionally lend your expertise to setting up specialized test equipment
Education/
Experience:
- Associate degree (AS) in Electronics Technology or equivalent field
- High-power electronics or high-power avionics technician experience? We want to hear about it!
- Total qualifying experience typically 1-2 years, showcasing your skills and proficiency
Technical Skills:
- Microsoft Office Suite? Check!
- Circuit boards, processors, chips you're on top of it all!
- Industrial control software? You're familiar with Control and data acquisition software (HiPot)
- You're handy with hand tools and soldering iron, fixing or replacing defective circuitry
Don't Forget:
- Must be a US Person - under ITAR rules to be eligible.
Shift:
2nd Shift, Monday to Thursday, 3:
00 PM to 1:
30 AM
Pay Rate:
$24 to $35 per hour, depending on your wealth of experience.
