This position is a great start to your administrative or healthcare career! You will gain valuable experience in patient care, knowledge of how health insurance policies work, as well as learning how an office functions.
This job has the potential to turn into a Front Office Management position if you are the right candidate! We are willing to train the right person for our team.
Job responsibilities include:
Warmly greeting and checking in patients, reviewing insurance coverage, and updating patient information Scheduling patient appointments and answering phones Collecting patient insurance benefits and answering questions about coverage Fulfilling records and patient requests Following up on patient claims Process patient payments and send out statements Assist the provider and keep him on schedule Our office schedule is 9AM to 6PM Monday -Thursday and occasional 9AM to 12PM Saturdays, with the potential for additional hours.
This position averages approximately 48 to 52 hours every two week pay period.
Compensation is $19-$23 / hour or depending on experience.
