As a Rental Supervisor, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage the company's rental operations.
You will lead a team of rental associates, ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the rental department.
Your role is essential in maintaining customer satisfaction, maximizing revenue, and upholding the company's standards and policies.
Key
Responsibilities:
Team Management:
Supervise and lead a team of rental associates, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
Schedule shifts and manage staff assignments to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours and special events.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and address any performance or behavior issues promptly.
Customer Service:
Ensure exceptional customer service at all times to foster positive relationships with clients.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional and timely manner.
Resolve any rental-related issues, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
Rental Operations:
Oversee the rental process from start to finish, including reservation, check-in, and check-out procedures.
Maintain accurate rental records and documentation, both physical and digital.
Coordinate with other departments, such as maintenance and logistics, to ensure smooth rental operations.
Inventory Management:
Monitor inventory levels and track rental equipment availability.
Collaborate with procurement to ensure sufficient rental stock and equipment maintenance.
Implement and maintain efficient inventory control practices to reduce loss and improve asset management.
Sales and Marketing:
Work with the marketing team to promote rental services and develop marketing strategies.
Participate in business development activities to attract new rental clients and increase revenue.
Suggest and implement pricing strategies based on market trends and competitive analysis.
Safety and Compliance:
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and rental industry standards.
Conduct safety inspections of rental equipment and facilities regularly.
Implement and enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience in rental operations, customer service, or a supervisory role.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of safety regulations and rental industry practices.
Proficiency in using rental management software and MS Office applications.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
