This position supports the Postpartum Care Center & Breastfeeding Clinic.
EvergreenHealth Family Maternity Center has an OB Emergency Department, dedicated L&D suites and a 26 bed Postpartum unit, and delivers 350-400 births per month.

Provides medical services within the scope of education and experience.
Functions as a clinical leader providing direct patient care independently in the postpartum settingInitiates and interprets appropriate diagnostic tests in the clinic.
Document patient interactions using clinic guidelinesProvide immediate care to patients in clinic with acute or emergent conditions.
Serve as resource for nursing personnel regarding management of patient problems in clinic or on the telephone.
Admit patients to hospital and may do follow-up or discharge of hospital patient under direction and supervision of physician.
