Summary:
Responsible for education and promotion of health related services to EvergreenHealth community and potential clients/patients through telephone, mail and e-mail contact, and for facilitating physician referrals, services, and class registration for EvergreenHealth aka King County Public Hospital District (KCPHD) No.
2 and all other business contracts we serve.
May serve as healthcare information representative for unique service-line programs affiliated with EvergreenHealth; including accountable care networks where high level benefit plan information, services and primary care provider (PCP) information and scheduling are facilitated.
Primary Duties:
Answers written and/or telephone inquiries regarding services, classes, and participating physicians for EvergreenHealth and affiliated services.
Provides excellent customer service experience via telephone/web.
Gives priority to responding to incoming phone calls, completing other assigned duties as call volume permits (i.
e.
letters, rosters, posting payments).
May perform outreach calls for designated services.
Utilizes EvergreenHealth resources and affiliated (approved) resources and websites to provide proactive assistance to patient's needs.
May provide high level benefit information, physician referral and scheduling for selected services for EvergreenHealth affiliations with Eastside Health Network and Puget Sound Health Network.
Seeks out additional duties when assigned work has been completed and as call volume permits.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED for the position:
High school graduate or equivalent One year of recent experience in customer service, preferably in the healthcare service industry or healthcare insurance industry Ability to problem solve and retain composure in stressful situations.
Detail oriented and organized.
Multitask and process work efficiently, with a high degree of accuracy.
